West Cork Port Cask – Maritime Release (70cl, 46%)

West Cork Port Cask is a triple distilled Irish single malt from West Cork Distillers, bottled at 46% in a 70cl domed bottle as the Maritime Release. The whiskey was first matured in ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in Quinta da Boeira port casks, which adds a round, sweet note. The nose offers red berries, soft sweetness and light vanilla. On the palate come soft malt, hints of toffee, plums and red fruit. The finish is medium long, slightly spicy and gently sweet.
