West Cork – Single Malt Calvados Cask Finish (70cl, 43%)

West Cork Single Malt Calvados Cask Finish is an Irish single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43% ABV. It is triple distilled in copper pot stills, matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and then rested in ex-calvados casks from Distillerie Garnier. Calvados is a French appellation spirit made from cider. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The nose shows intense green apple with almonds and vanilla. On the palate, fresh fruit lingers, with pear most prominent. The finish is subtle and refined.
