This is a 12 year old Irish single malt from West Cork Distillers. It was matured in Irish oak casks, then finished in Bodega sherry casks. It is bottled at 43% ABV, in a 70cl bottle, as a limited release.
The whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose has dried raisins, figs, soft caramel, light nuts and a hint of orange zest. The palate is round and smooth, with sherry sweetness, honey, milk chocolate, ripe plums and soft spices. The finish is long and warming, with raisins, cocoa and subtle oak.
