This is a single malt Irish whiskey from West Cork Distillers, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is finished in East Indies rum casks.
The new make was triple distilled. The whiskey is bottled without chill-filtration and without added colouring.
The nose is fresh and soft, with a light, rum-like sweetness and hints of citrus and green apple. The palate is oily, with clear barley malt, citrus, apple and a sweet, spicy molasses note. The finish begins sweet and spicy and fades to a clear citrus note, short to medium in length.
