West Cork – Single Malt Sherry Cask Finish (70cl, 43%)

This is an Irish single malt from West Cork, made from malted barley only and triple distilled in small batches. It matured first in first-fill bourbon casks, then in sherry casks from Bodegas Baron. It belongs to the distillery's Cask Finish Series and is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. The nose offers dried plums and figs with sherry notes and vanilla, and a little lightly toasted oak. The palate starts sweet, then turns dry and spicy, with malt and fine wood. The finish is medium in length, with a gentle spiciness.
