West Cork Virgin Oak Cask Finish is an Irish single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is first matured in first-fill bourbon casks, then finished in new, untreated American oak. It is non-chill filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose brings vanilla, coconut, honey, citrus zest, light pepper, fresh oak and marshmallow. The palate is rich, creamy and vibrant, with vanilla cream, soft caramel, white spices, toasted wood, light ginger and biscuit. The finish is medium to long, warm and slightly spicy, with a clear but elegant virgin oak note.
