A single malt Irish whiskey from West Cork Distillers, released as the Maritime Release in a domed bottle. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whiskey was first matured in traditional casks, then finished in virgin oak casks from Kelvin Cooperage.
Vanilla, fresh wood, light coconut, honey and a hint of citrus lead the nose. The palate is creamy and slightly sweet, with plenty of fresh oak, burnt sugar and soft spice. The finish is of medium length, with warm vanilla and wood spices.
