Westland – American Oak (70cl, 46%)

Westland American Oak is a single malt from Westland in Seattle, Washington, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is part of the distillery's core range. Master distiller Matt Hofman makes it from five types of barley: Munich, Extra Special, Brown, Pale Chocolate and Washington Select. It is fermented with Belgian brewer's yeast. Unusually for an American single malt, only malted barley is used, for both malting and distilling. The whisky then matures for at least two years in new, charred oak casks.
