Westward American Single Malt Whiskey Pinot Noir Finish (70cl, 45%)

This is an American single malt from Westward Whiskey of Portland, Oregon, in a 70cl bottle at 45%. It starts from Westward Original, which is then finished for up to two years in French oak casks that previously held Oregon Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley. The wine casks add red fruit, earthy spice and fine tannins without covering the malty character of the spirit. The nose has orchard fruit, tobacco and freshly cut grass. The palate brings raisins, figs and apricots. The finish is strong malt, herbal oak and dark chocolate.
