Whitlaw Highland Park Vintage 2014 6 Year Old Very Cloudy (70cl, 40%)

Whitlaw Highland Park Vintage 2014 is a 6 year old Orkney single malt from the Very Cloudy range, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky comes from Highland Park, which dries its malted barley on site using peat from Hobbister Moor. It was aged in old butts and bottled from a small batch of two to five casks, reduced to 40% without chill filtration or colouring. The range has a slightly cloudy appearance and a rich, highly aromatic profile. The character of this bottling moves between subtle smoky notes, white fruits and a rich, oily texture.
