Wild Turkey 81 is a bourbon from the United States, bottled at 81 proof, or 40.5%, in a 75cl bottle.
It is aged for six to eight years, longer than any other bourbon in its class, in American oak barrels with a number 4 alligator char. The mash bill is the classic Wild Turkey high-rye recipe, used by Eddie Russell.
It is made to be enjoyed on its own, and it also suits mixed drinks such as a Manhattan or an Old Fashioned.
