A small batch Kentucky straight bourbon from Wild Turkey, in a 75cl bottle at 50% ABV. It is named after Jimmy Russell, the distillery's long-serving Master Distiller.
The bourbon is drawn from hand-selected barrels aged for at least 10 years, and sometimes longer. It uses the distillery's single bourbon mashbill.
The nose is orange peel and citrus with butterscotch, maple, oak and vanilla. The palate is rich, with spicy caramel and vanilla. The finish is smooth and sweet, with toffee and spice lingering in a mild, pleasant warmth.
