Wilderness Trail – Cask Strength Rye (75cl)

Wilderness Trail Cask Strength Rye is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey in a 75cl bottle. It is made from sweet mash, distilled in column stills, from a three-grain recipe of 56 percent rye, 33 percent corn and 11 percent malted barley. The rye is Kentucky-grown Heritage rye from a local farm. The spirit goes into new, air-dried, #4 char 53-gallon barrels at 100 or 105 proof, and matures on the upper floors of the rickhouses for a minimum of four years. Because entry proof has varied, the strength differs between releases.
