Willett Family Estate 11 Year Old Small Batch Rare Release Cask Strength Straight Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey #3052 (75cl, 67.5%)

This is an 11-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon from Willett Distillery, bottled at cask strength, 67.5% ABV, in a 750ml bottle. It comes from barrel number 3052 and was made for Willett's Private Barrel Selection programme. It is not chill-filtered. The mash bill is 72% corn, 13% rye and 15% malted barley. The nose is floral and fruity, with baked apple, toffee and a little cinnamon. On the palate come cinnamon, poached fruit and baking spices, with a fruit character likened to Calvados. The finish brings dark chocolate, vanilla and sweet brown spices.
