Woodburns Contemporary Indian Whisky

This is a blended Indian whisky from Full Arts Distilleries in Goa, made entirely from Indian ingredients. It uses malted barley aged in hand-charred oak barrels. The result is full-bodied, with dark chocolate, toasted wood, a little peat smoke and caramel sweetness. It is deep amber with golden highlights. The nose is rich and oaky, with dark caramel, toasted wood and vanilla, then cocoa, dry malt and a hint of peat smoke. The palate brings butterscotch, toasted grain and dark chocolate, developing into oak spice, pepper and charred wood. The finish is medium to long and warm, with dark cocoa, sweet oak spice and light smoke.
