A Kentucky bourbon from Woodford Reserve, the 2019 holiday edition, in a 100cl bottle at 45.2% ABV. The label shows a festive scene at the Woodford Reserve Distillery visitor centre, painted by Kentucky artist Suzanne Enriquez Dougherty.
The nose is led by vanilla and caramel around a sweet fruit bouquet, with cocoa and a pinch of black pepper. The palate plays crème brûlée against dried apricots, and the finish is medium in length and spicy, with tobacco and grain notes.
