Woodford Reserve – Kentucky Bourbon Holiday 2022 (70cl, 43.2%)

This is the 2022 Holiday Edition of Woodford Reserve Kentucky Bourbon, bottled at 43.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. A new version of the Holiday Edition appears each autumn, always at a slightly higher strength than usual. The 2022 bottle departs from the rest of the range with a gold label designed by Nick Hirst, a British-born artist and architect. The design is plain, while the bourbon inside is described as fruity in both flavour and finish. Tasting notes mention orchard fruit, mint, citrus and vanilla, together with sticky toffee, festive spices, old wood and chocolate-coated grain.
