Woodford Reserve – Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey (70cl, 43.2%)

Woodford Reserve Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey is a Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 43.2% in a 70cl bottle. The Distiller's Select name refers to the master distiller choosing the best barrels from the Labrot & Graham distillery, where bourbon has been made since 1812. The spirit then matures for six to nine years at Woodford. It is made by the sour mash method from a mash bill of at least 51% corn. It has an amber colour and is described as very soft, with caramel, crème brûlée, apricot and sweet cocoa, then spicy, bitter rye notes and oak.
