Woodford Reserve – Master's Collection 123.6 Proof (70cl, 61.8%)

This is a batch proof bourbon from Woodford Reserve, released in 2020 as part of its Master's Collection, a limited series. It is bottled at 123.6 proof, or 61.8% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It uses the same maturation process as Woodford Reserve Straight Bourbon. A selection of casks is blended and bottled at cask strength. The colour is deep amber. The nose brings roasted oak, vanilla and a hint of dried fruit. The palate is caramel and dark chocolate with a spicy lift of black pepper and cinnamon, and the bold, lingering finish leaves oak, leather and a subtle sweetness.
