Yushan Signature Bourbon Cask (70cl, 46%)

Yushan Signature Bourbon Cask is a Taiwanese blended malt, formerly sold as Omar and renamed after Yushan, also called Jade Mountain, the highest mountain on the island. It is made from 100% malted barley and is unpeated. The blend is made from malts aged in Bourbon casks and distilled in Scottish (Forsyths) and Belgian copper pot stills. It is bottled at 46% without chill filtration or added colour, in a 70cl bottle. Vanilla sweetness runs through the tasting, with cream and caramel adding to the smoothness from the Bourbon casks.
