Aber Falls Sherry Cask is a Welsh single malt from the Aber Falls distillery, which stands at the foot of the Snowdonia mountains in north Wales. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. The whisky is matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in sherry casks, which add depth to the fresh, fruity character of the spirit. The nose offers raisins, figs and black cherries with honey, milk chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate brings dried fruit, caramel, toffee, candied orange and cocoa. The finish is long and warm, with nuts, chocolate, toasted oak and gentle spice.
