Akashi – White Oak Blended Japanese Whisky (50cl, 40%)

Akashi White Oak is a blended Japanese whisky in a 50cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It spends three years in a Japanese shochu cask made of American white oak, and is then aged in ex-bourbon casks. A two-year finish in ex-sherry casks completes it. The nose is typically described as malty and citrusy, with black cherry, toffee and oak. Vanilla and pine nuts dominate the palate, leading to a long, malty finish.
