Amrut Fusion is a single malt whisky from the Amrut Distillery in India, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The name refers to the barley: part of it is grown in India and part is peated barley from Scotland.
The nose is rich and fruity, with citrus, spice and creamy sweetness over a hint of peat. On the palate it is oaky and rich, with gentle peat, coffee, dark chocolate and fruit. The finish is long and spiced, with marmalade and sweetness.
