Amrut – Fusion Single Malt Indian Whisky (70cl, 50%)

Amrut Fusion is a single malt Indian whisky bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The nose is heavy, oaky and complex, with barley sugar notes wrapped in soft smoke. On the palate the smoke turns to warming brown peat, alongside a sherry trifle note, vanilla and barley fruitiness, and the flavours deepen into an intense chocolate fudge middle. The finish is dry with peat and oak, with enough molasses sweetness to carry the malt through, and spices that rise up towards the end.
