This is an eight-year-old Indian single malt from Amrut, a single-cask bottling hand-selected by the Master Distiller. It is made from Scottish peated malted barley and bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was filled in January 2014 and bottled in October 2022. It matured in ex-bourbon oak and then in a refill Pedro Ximenez sherry butt. Cask #3505 gave 510 bottles.
The nose brings dried figs and plums with toffee, chocolate, sweet tobacco, melon and restrained smoke. The palate adds soft peat, honey, syrupy citrus and spice, and the finish is sweet and dry with soft phenols.
