Angel's Envy Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon finished in ruby port wine barrels, bottled at 43.3% ABV in a 75cl bottle. This Father's Day edition carries a custom "Happy Father's Day" engraving.
After its bourbon maturation, the whiskey is finished in port casks, which add ripe fruit and soft sweetness.
The nose is subtle, with vanilla, raisin and maple syrup alongside toasted nuts and soft oak spice. The palate brings ripe fruit, vanilla and maple sweetness with bitter chocolate and port richness. The finish is smooth and gently warming, with lingering fruit, oak and a Madeira-like sweetness.
