Angel's Envy Cask Strength 2015 is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Louisville, finished in ruby port wine barrels from Portugal. It is the 2015 annual release of the Cask Strength series, bottled at natural barrel proof with no dilution, in a 750ml bottle. The brand was founded by the Henderson family, led by Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson, who spent 40 years at Brown-Forman before starting his own label. The colour is deep amber with a ruby port tint. The nose offers dark cherry, dried plum, caramel and vanilla. The palate is rich and concentrated, with dried fruit, dark chocolate and warm bourbon sweetness. The finish is long and warming.
