Ardbeg 10 Year Old is a peated single malt from the south coast of Islay. It is non-chill filtered and matured mainly in ex-bourbon casks. Alongside its smoky profile it has a delicate sweetness and a citrus note that sit against the heavy peat.
The nose brings briny sea air, smoked fish and lemon. On the palate there is oily peat smoke, dark chocolate and black pepper. The finish is long, with toasted marshmallow and drying wood smoke.
