Ardbeg – 22 Year Old Twenty Something 2018 Release (70cl)

This is a 22 year old Islay single malt from Ardbeg, released in 2018 as Twenty Something. It was distilled in spring 1996 and bottled from a single ex-bourbon cask on 18th July 2018, in a 70cl bottle. The whisky comes from a small number of casks filled at a time when the distillery's future was uncertain. It is described as showing fresh green apples, vanilla toffee and aniseed alongside Ardbeg's peat and smoke.
