Ardbeg – 23 Year Old Twenty Something 2017 Release (70cl)

This is a 23 year old Ardbeg from the Twenty Something release of 2017, in a 70cl bottle. It is a single malt from Islay. The release looks back at Ardbeg as it was two decades earlier, at a time when production at the distillery had dwindled almost to nothing, the stills were often empty and the filling store was silent. Whisky from that period lay quietly in the warehouse, waiting.
