Ardbeg 8 Year Old For Discussion is a smoky Islay single malt bottled at 50.8% and made for members of the Ardbeg Committee. It matured in former sherry casks. Peat smoke from Islay sits at the centre, joined by notes of fennel, celery and green pepper. Milk chocolate, aniseed and wood smoke run alongside them, with a touch of sea breeze and a gentle sweetness. The finish is long and intense.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
