Ardbeg – 8 Year Old For Discussion Committee Release (70cl)

This is an eight year old Islay single malt from Ardbeg, in a 70cl bottle. It is a Committee Release, made for the distillery's community of Committee Members. Ardbeg describes it as big, youthful and deliberately challenging, with a smoky intensity that is unmistakeable. The character is built around charcoal and creosote, with curious hints of fennel and celery alongside woodsmoke.
