Ardbeg An Oa is an Islay single malt named after the Mull of Oa peninsula. This 2026 release comes in a newly designed bottle and pack, and is bottled at 46.6% without chill-filtration in a 70cl bottle.
Whiskies from Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, first fill bourbon casks and newly charred oak are married in the Gathering Vat. The result pairs strong peat smoke with a soft sweetness and a creamy texture.
The nose offers creamy toffee, aniseed, peach, banana, gentle peat smoke and a maritime breeze. Silky milk chocolate, orange, sweet smoky tea and warming spice follow on the palate. The finish is long, with sweet tobacco, spice, toffee and lingering smoke.
