Ardbeg An Oa is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 46.6% in a 70cl bottle.
Its whiskies from several cask types, including Pedro Ximenez, virgin charred oak and ex-bourbon, spend time together in a newly established bespoke oak Gathering Vat. The aim is a rounded dram with smoky power, softened by a smooth sweetness.
It is described as combining Ardbeg peat, dark chocolate and aniseed with silky butterscotch, black pepper and clove, building to an intense finish of flavour.
