Ardbeg – An Oa Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46.6%)

Ardbeg An Oa is an Islay single malt from the Ardbeg distillery, bottled at 46.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Ardbeg has been producing whisky on the island since 1815. This expression is finished in ex-Pedro Ximenez casks. It keeps the distillery's peaty character but is rounder and more approachable than its reputation for robust peat might suggest, and perhaps lighter in body. It is described as having cigars and golden syrup, with sweet black tea on the tail and hints of chocolate limes.
