Ardbeg An Oa is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle at 46.6% ABV. It is made from whiskies matured in several cask types, including Pedro Ximenez, virgin charred oak and ex-bourbon casks, which are brought together in a newly established bespoke oak Gathering Vat.
The whisky is smoky and peaty, with a smooth sweetness running through it. Tasting notes mention dark chocolate and aniseed, butterscotch, black pepper and clove.
