Ardbeg Ardcore is a single malt from Islay, released for Ardbeg Day 2022 and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was made as a tribute to the punk scene that lived on Islay in the 1970s. For the first time in the distillery's history, the spirit was distilled from deep black roasted malted barley. The whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks and has no added colouring. It is described as smoky, unconventional and full-bodied, with plenty of character.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
