Ardbeg – Ardcore Committee Edition 2021

Ardbeg Ardcore is the 2021 Committee Release from the Islay distillery, a cask strength single malt. Ardbeg had a difficult time through much of the 20th century. Hiram Walker and DCL bought the distillery in a joint venture in 1959, and DCL withdrew in 1979. Hiram Walker closed it for most of the 1980s, it re-opened briefly in the 1990s, and Glenmorangie plc revived it for good in 1997.
