This is a limited edition single malt from Ardbeg, made with roasted black malt. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle and is not chill-filtered. It is not the Committee release.
The nose is fresh, floral and herbal, with zesty smoked orange and grapefruit, menthol and peppermint. Water brings diesel oil, tar and aniseed. The palate is lively and sharp, with malty biscuit tones, aniseed, cardamom, sweet mint toffee and cigar ash. The finish is lingering and salty, with mint, tar, oak tannin and leather.
