Ardbeg Auriverdes is the 2014 limited release from Islay, made for the football World Cup in Brazil. The name joins the Latin-derived words for gold and green, the colours of the Brazilian flag. The bottle is green with gold lettering, and the typeface nods to the numbers on the backs of old football shirts. The whisky was bottled at 49.9% ABV, without colouring or chill-filtration.
