Ardbeg Blaaack is a limited edition Islay single malt, released for the 20th anniversary of the Ardbeg Committee, which was founded in 2000.
For the occasion the distillery used Pinot Noir casks from New Zealand, the first time Ardbeg has done so. New Zealand is about as far from Islay as it is possible to get, and it is another remote island nation.
