Ardbeg Blasda is a limited single malt from Islay, released in 2008 and bottled at 40% ABV. The name is a Gaelic word for sweet and delicious. Only 18,000 bottles were made worldwide.
The whisky matured in sherry hogsheads and is a lightly peated Ardbeg at 8ppm. It was bottled in clear glass rather than the green bottles usually used for Ardbeg.
