Ardbeg Corryvreckan is an Islay single malt bottled at 57.1% in a 70cl bottle. Work on the expression began in 1999, and it has been refined over the years since. It is matured in oak casks.
The palate opens with lemon, smoke and peat, which move on to apples, sugar and barley. The finish is long and sweet, full of tar, coffee, chocolate and cherries, with a touch of pepper.
