This is a 12-year-old Ardbeg single malt from the Scottish island of Islay, released by Atom Brands as part of its Darkness range.
The whisky was finished in small sherry octave casks, which are mostly around 50 litres. Their size brings the spirit into closer contact with the wood, giving a richer and more intense whisky. It is bottled at 48.5% ABV, without chill-filtration and with natural colour.
