Ardbeg Dolce is a limited-edition Islay single malt, created for Ardbeg Day 2026 during the Fèis Ìle festival. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in Sicilian Marsala dolce fortified wine casks and ex-bourbon barrels, setting Ardbeg's intense peat smoke against the sweetness of the wine. The theme draws on 1960s Italian cinema and Mediterranean life.
The nose brings ripe apricot, raisins and orange marmalade, with a more muted peat smoke, dark chocolate and a touch of sea spray. The mouthfeel is oily and chewy, and the finish is very long, with smoked applewood, bonfire embers, tobacco and peat oils.
