Ardbeg – Galileo (70cl)

Ardbeg Galileo is a single malt Scotch whisky from Islay, in a 70cl bottle. It was made to mark Ardbeg's first experiment in space, in October 2011, when Ardbeg-crafted molecules were sent into orbit. The distillery had by then been voted Best Scotch Whisky in the World three years running, and this release celebrates the space project. On the nose it is spicy toffee, tropical fruit and a puff of soot. The palate is salty yet sweet, with cream and a burst of smoky apricot.
