Ardbeg – Heavy Vapours Limited Edition (70cl, 46%)

Heavy Vapours is a limited edition single malt from Ardbeg on Islay, distilled without the purifier that normally sits on the lyne arm of the spirit still. The purifier sends heavier compounds back into the still, a process said to add a floral fruitiness that balances the powerful peat. Leaving it out gives a more full-throttle Ardbeg. It is bottled at 46% without chill-filtration, in a 70cl bottle. It is not the Committee release.
