Ardbeg Lord of the Isles is a 25 year old Islay single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle and presented in a box with a scroll. It was matured in oak barrels for 25 years and is non-chill-filtered.
The name looks back to the Lords of the Isles, who ruled the Western Isles of Scotland from a council isle on Islay between the 12th and 15th centuries. Ardbeg distillery was founded on Islay in 1815 by John MacDougall.
