Spectacular is an Islay single malt from Ardbeg, released for Ardbeg Day 2024.
It pairs the classic peat of the distillery with a fruitier side, and part of the whisky was matured in rare casks.
The nose offers peat, tropical fruit, vanilla and a touch of ginger. On the palate smoky peat meets citrus, peach and spice. The finish is long, warming and smoky, with a lightly sweet undertone.
