A limited edition Islay single malt from Ardbeg, in a 70cl bottle, released for Ardbeg Day.
It is the first Ardbeg to be matured in port wine casks, alongside ex-bourbon casks.
It is described as opening with lavender, vetiver and incense, running into almond nuttiness. Damp peat and woodsmoke follow, with creosote and tar, then leather and minty chocolate alongside sweet pear crumble and salted caramel fudge.
